Welcome to Prep 1
Our class has two teachers. Mrs Robyn Stegman and Mrs Deborah Alexander. Our teacher aides are Mrs Shelly Stratford and Mrs Margaret Kay.
Our program strives to develop confident, competant and enthusiastic learners. Our curriculum is a balance between the individual child's learning needs and interests, the Early years Curriculum guidelines and school based initiatives and programs.
The daily program includes whole group language, music and movement and Go Maths sessions, structured small group activity time, outdoor play involving an obstacle course and a range of other gross motor activities and an indoor play session in which students are encouraged to participate in the planning and reflecting of activiites.
Each week we have lessons with the PE and music specialists, visit the library and attend parade.
Parents and care givers of our children are always welcome to come in and spend some time with us. So come along and join in the fun!
